In 2010, Anushka Sharma was in the film "Badmash Co' alongside Shahid Kapoor Vir Das as well as Meiyang Chang. The film was met with mixed praise. Anushka Sharma starred in the film 'Band Baaja Baaraat. The actress played the role of a Punjabi woman in the middle class, who has her own wedding company. The film was well-received and was a huge success. Anushka's 3-film contract at Yash Raj Films ended with Band Baaja Baaraat.
